🎶🌅 Another amazing surprise summer performance is in the books! Tonight I had the opportunity to photograph the New Philadelphia Steel Band at the Atwood Yacht Club, and what a beautiful evening it was. 🥁✨

Between the lakeside setting, the summer weather, and the incredible music, it made for a fantastic night to sit back, relax, and enjoy another outstanding performance by these talented students. There's just something special about hearing steel pans on a summer evening by the lake. ❤️

These last two performances weren't originally on my schedule, but I'm certainly glad I decided to go. Sometimes the unexpected events end up becoming some of the most memorable for me.

As always, it was a pleasure getting the opportunity to capture these moments and preserve the memories for students, families, and friends. 📸

🎶🌅 Surprise! This one wasn't originally on my calendar, but tonight I made the trip to Tappan Lake Park & Marina to catch a performance by the New Philadelphia Steel Band! 🥁✨

Between the beautiful lakeside setting at the beach, the summer evening, and the unique sound of the steel pans, it turned out to be a fantastic night to sit back, relax, and enjoy some great music. Sometimes the unplanned events end up being the most memorable! ❤️

One of the fun parts of the evening was riding the bus with the students to and from the performance. Perks of being a staff member in the district, I guess! 😄🚌 And the best part? I get to do it all again tomorrow!

I'll be back with the New Philadelphia Steel Band tomorrow evening as they perform at the Atwood Yacht Club. Looking forward to another great night of music! 🎶🌅

Another great summer evening with the Dover High School Jazz & Steel Bands at Tuscora Park! 🎶🌳🎷🥁 The combination of live music, beautiful weather, and one of Dover’s favorite gathering places made for a perfect night in the park. ❤️

From energetic jazz selections to the unique sound of the steel pans, both groups put on outstanding performances and kept the crowd entertained all evening long. It’s always amazing to see the community come together to enjoy great music and support these talented students. ✨

Events like this are a great reminder that some of the best summer nights are the simple ones — good music, good company, and a relaxing evening outdoors. 📸

photograph and experience. ❤️

From jazz favorites to the unique sound of the steel

pans, both groups delivered outstanding performances

and created the perfect soundtrack for a summer night

in Dover. Concerts like these are always special

because they bring together great music, great people,

and a community enjoying time together outdoors. ✨

And honestly… the music was so good that there were

a few moments where I completely forgot I was

supposed to be taking photos. 😂📸

❤️🎶 Today’s Dover Memorial Day Ceremony brought together the Dover High School Marching Tornadoes, DHS Choir, veterans, families, and community members to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day events are always some of the most meaningful moments to photograph. From the music and tributes to the moments of reflection throughout the ceremony, today served as a powerful reminder of what this day is truly about.

Today also marked the final appearance of the 2025 Marching Tornadoes. From band camp and football season to parades, concerts, community performances, and countless memories along the way, this group has shared an unforgettable year. 🎺🥁

It’s always special getting to document these moments and watch one group of seniors finish their journey while the next chapter of the program begins to take shape.

A special night celebrating the New Philadelphia High School Class of 2026! 🎓📸 Graduation is always filled with so many emotions. Like excitement, reflection, happiness, and the realization of just how quickly the years fly by. Tonight was no different as students crossed the stage surrounded by family, friends, teachers, and a community cheering them on every step of the way. ❤️🖤

From the smiles before the ceremony to the hugs and celebrations afterward, it was awesome to capture so many unforgettable moments throughout the evening. And of course, thanks for once again trusting me to be the “tech guy” at New Phila, too! 🎉

Congratulations to the entire Class of 2026 on this incredible accomplishment. The hard work, dedication, friendships, and memories you’ve built over the years have all led to this moment, and I truly wish all of you nothing but success in whatever comes next.

A huge congratulations as well to the parents, families, teachers, staff, and community members who helped support these graduates along the way. Tonight was a celebration for all of you, too. ❤️

🎡🎶 I spent the first part of today capturing moments from the Canal Dover Days Parade, and as always, it was such a fun community event to be part of! ❤️📸

From the marching bands and parade floats to community organizations, local businesses, emergency vehicles, and smiling faces lining the streets, there was so much energy and hometown spirit throughout the entire parade. Events like this are always a great reminder of how strong and connected the Dover community really is. 🇺🇸✨

One of my favorite parts of photographing parades is capturing all of the little moments in between. Like the waves from the crowd, kids excited for candy, Marching Tornadoes performing through downtown, and everyone coming together to celebrate another year of Canal Dover Days. 🎺🥁

A beautiful evening at the NPHS Choir Concert in the Park! 🎶🌳 The combination of great music, warm spring weather, and the park atmosphere made tonight such a fun and memorable event to photograph. ❤️🎤

The students did an incredible job throughout the concert, and it was easy to see all the hard work and preparation that went into tonight’s performance. Events like this are always special because they bring together music, community, and so many great moments all in one evening. ✨

A special day celebrating the Dover High School Class of 2026! 🎓📸 It’s hard to believe this is already the fourth Dover graduation ceremony I’ve photographed since graduating myself back in 2021. Coming back each year to capture these moments is something I never take for granted. ❤️

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph so many of these students through football games, band events, concerts, pep rallies, parades, and so much more. Watching them walk across the stage today was a reminder of just how quickly time flies and how many memories have been made along the way.

A fun evening at the South Elementary Ice Cream Social! 🍦🎶 From sweet treats to great music, it was awesome seeing the students and community come together for such a fun event. The bands brought plenty of energy, and the atmosphere made for a perfect spring evening! ❤️📸

A great evening at the Dover High School Band Awards Ceremony! 🏆🎶 

Tonight was all about celebrating the hard work, dedication, leadership, and accomplishments of the students who make the Dover Band Program so special. From class awards and senior recognitions to special honors like the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and John Philip Sousa Band Award, it was an awesome night recognizing an incredible year of music and memories. ❤️🎺🥁

It was also great getting the opportunity to photograph the event while helping run lights and slides throughout the evening! Congratulations to all of tonight’s award recipients and seniors; your passion and commitment truly showed all season long. 👏✨

A great night of music at the 2026 DHS Spring Concert! 🎶🌸 The Concert Band and Symphonic Band put on incredible performances tonight, showcasing all the hard work and preparation that has gone into this season. From classic pieces to energetic favorites, every group sounded fantastic and brought so much energy to the stage.

It’s always awesome seeing these students continue to grow as musicians, and tonight was another reminder of how talented this program truly is. 📸

A great night with the Dover bands! 🎶📸 This one was a surprise and wasn’t originally on my calendar, but I’m really glad I made it out to capture these students. From the 5th through 8th grade bands, every group brought great energy to the stage and showed off all the hard work that goes into building such a strong program.

I don’t usually get the chance to cover these concerts, so it was awesome to be there for something a little different! Huge shoutout to Mr. Carrick on being named Tuscarawas County Arts Teacher of the Year 2026, very well deserved! 👏

🎭📸 A magical night at NPHS!

Tonight was something a little different for me! I had the opportunity to photograph the NPHS Spring Musical, Alice by Heart, and it was such a fun experience stepping into the world of theater photography! ❤️✨

From powerful vocals and emotional storytelling to creative staging and lighting, this show truly pulls you into another world. It’s not something I get to capture every day, and I loved every second of it!

Huge shoutout to the cast, crew, and directors for putting together such a meaningful and beautifully executed production. You can tell how much heart went into every moment on that stage. 👏🎶

Tonight I had the chance to photograph the Dover High School Steel Drum Band’s annual Pantasia performance. And let me just say, wow, what a show! From the energy on stage to the incredible sound of the steel pans, this year’s “There’s No Place Like Chrome” theme absolutely delivered.

The creativity, rhythm, and talent in this program never disappoints. So much fun to capture! 📸🎶

What a perfect way to wrap up the season! 🎶🌪️ Tonight the Marching Tornadoes took the stage (and the floor!) for their annual Encore Concert at Dover High School and they did not disappoint! From crowd favorites to this year’s show music, the energy, emotion, and school spirit filled the auditorium from start to finish. ❤️

It’s always special seeing the band bring that same Friday night magic indoors one last time, a true celebration of all their hard work this season!

🌟🏈 The Dover vs. New Philadelphia game never disappoints. One of the biggest rivalries around! 🏈🔥 The stadium was packed, the crowd was full of energy, and the school spirit was off the charts! ❤️🤍

Both bands brought their best to the field, filling the night with music, energy, and pride. 🎶 From their powerful halftime performances to a truly special combined performance of The Star-Spangled Banner, it was a perfect reminder of how music can unite even the biggest rivals. 🇺🇸🎺🥁

What an amazing night in Dover for a pep rally! 🔥🌪️ The Dover Community Pep Rally and Bonfire had it all—school spirit, music, and energy everywhere! The Marching Tornadoes, Football Teams, Dance Team, and Cheerleaders all brought their A-game and made it a pep rally to remember. ❤️🎶🏈💃📣

What a night in Dover! ❤️🎶 From start to finish, there was something happening every moment—Band Senior Night kicked things off during pregame, Homecoming royalty was crowned at halftime, and the Tornadoes brought home a big win on the field! 🏈🎉

To top it all off, the Marching Tornadoes wrapped up the night with an awesome post-game performance of Can’t Hold Us—the perfect ending to a packed and unforgettable evening! 📸🌟

Looks like Dad is two for two this weekend! 📸😂 While I was busy performing with the Dover Alumni Band at the 2025 Band Preview, he once again snuck off with my camera and captured some awesome shots! The alumni band even had its own show—and towards the end, the current Marching Tornadoes joined us on the field. Such a fun night of music and memories!
